Mark Bailey

Founder & CEO

Mark began his career in recruitment working for 2 start up agencies and after just five years, set out on his own journey and founded a niche focused technology recruitment company. After an incredibly successful career and achieving revenue of £30 million, Mark sold his award-winning company to Private Equity and subsequently became an influential board member of a £250m revenue group business. Following his success, Mark chose to leverage his knowledge in recruitment to empower others in shaping their futures. He embarked on a journey of investing in start-ups globally, offering guidance and mentorship to navigate them toward success.

Jennifer Evans

Founder & COO

Jennifer is an experienced COO with 20 years in the staffing sector. After earning her degree in Psychology from Warwick University, she began her career in recruitment, specialising in placing skilled technical contractors within the investment banking industry. She later joined Mark’s technology recruitment company, where she managed all back-office and administrative functions in line with the company’s ambitious growth strategy. Working closely with Mark, she helped scale the business with 80 staff across five locations, including an international office. With a background in recruitment and sales, supported by training in accountancy and law, Jennifer brings a unique ability to build strong operational foundations. She has worked with leadership teams to drive growth, streamline processes, ensure compliance, and embrace technological innovation to maintain a competitive edge.

With almost 15 years’ experience in recruitment Lily works with clients across key operational areas driving continuous process improvement to achieve business goals. Lily ensures robust compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards, while managing supplier relationships and working closely with founders and senior managers to enhance efficiency, collaboration, and overall operational excellence.

With 8 years of administration and operational experience, Alex supports Fourteen Group and our portfolio with all back-office delivery, from HR and contracts to team onboarding and day-to-day office management. She works closely with clients and leadership to ensure smooth, efficient day-to-day operations.

As a part-qualified ACCA accountant, Tilly oversees the financial operations for both Fourteen Group and our portfolio, managing the team that handles all financial processes including credit control, payroll, AP, and management accounts. She prepares in-depth annual budgets and monthly board packs, ensuring financial transparency and supporting decision-making. Tilly is a key resource for maintaining accurate and timely financial processes across our portfolio.

Zoe brings founders’ visions to life through thoughtful design and strategic storytelling. With experience across sectors including; technology, life sciences and renewable energy, Zoe works closely with start-ups and scale-ups to build or refresh brand identities and marketing materials that reflect their mission. Managing both online and offline channels, Zoe ensures every touchpoint is aligned with the brand’s voice, playing a key role in positioning businesses for long-term success.
